What is Elf in Greenville?

Our 2022 Elf in Greenville project is shaping up to be the biggest yet! As he has in past year’s, ‘Buddy’ will be delivering teddy bears to all of the children at Prisma Children’s Hospital and Serenity Place, as well as “comfort bears” to the Travelers Rest Police Department, Travelers Rest Fire Department, Tigerville Fire Department, and Duncan Chapel Fire Department.

This year, for the first time, Buddy will also be delivering bears to all of the children at Greenville’s Shriners Hospital for Children! This adds another 50 teddy bear deliveries this year!

We will start fundraising this year in November. I hope you will consider sponsoring!

Like last year, there will be two ways to donate:
1. If you go to the TR United Methodist Church website, click Give, and select Buddy Bears Project then your contribution will be tax deductible. This site only allows donation through bank transfer.
2. If you would like to contribute with a credit card, then you would need to use the GoFundMe link, but please note that these contributions through GoFundMe are unfortunately NOT tax deductible.

You can see our 2016-2021 videos below! (There was no video for 2020.) The 2017-2019 videos include footage from the visits at Prisma Children’s Hospital, and the 2021 video includes footage at Serenity Place.

In 2022 Buddy will be able to deliver teddy bears directly to the children at the hospitals again! It will be fantastic to see those smiles again.
